The Road Led Me To You

It began beside an old stone bridge. Morning sun. Swallows overhead. A church bell marking an ordinary day that would turn out to be anything but ordinary. The Road Led Me to You is about looking back across a lifetime and realizing that all the wandering wasn't really wandering at all. Every road. Every mile. Every wrong turn. Somehow, they were all leading home. Not to a particular house or village, but to the person who would eventually make anywhere feel like home. They dance beneath harvest moons, walk through wind and rain, build a life with their own hands and eventually grow old beside the evening fire. And when this life is over? He hopes Heaven has an Irish shore. Because wherever she is, that's where he wants to be.
