The Light Still Waits

The tide still comes in. The gulls still circle the bay. The same path winds through the heather toward the sea. Everything is where it always was. Except you. The Light Still Waits is about returning to a place you once shared with someone who is no longer there — and discovering that somehow, the place still holds them. In the stones. In the wind. In an old path beside the sea. In all the words that were never spoken. Years pass. The tides continue. Life moves forward. And still, there are moments when the distance between memory and presence becomes impossibly small. For one breath, you almost find them there again. Perhaps that's what longing really is. Knowing what cannot be... and still looking toward the light.
