The Lost Ballads - Album
Not every song finds its way into the world the first time around.
Some get set aside. Some don’t quite fit. Some disappear beneath newer ideas, unfinished projects, and the inevitable clutter of the cutting room floor.
And sometimes, they deserve another chance.
Lost Ballads: Songs From The Cheeky Celt Cutting Room Floor brings together 15 original Celtic songs that nearly remained unheard — forgotten tracks, abandoned favorites, dark stories, love songs, laments, and melodies that somehow slipped through the cracks.
The collection ultimately travels from love and longing through folklore, loss, darkness, memory and finally homecoming — ending with Sing Me Home and the simple hope that even after wandering through everything that came before, there is still a road leading us back.
Blending emotive female vocals with cinematic Celtic instrumentation, Lost Ballads moves between intimate Irish folk ballads, romantic storytelling, haunting laments, darker Celtic folklore, and sweeping songs of Ireland and home.
These were the songs that almost disappeared.
Perhaps they were never meant to.
